A great example of southern Grampians region Pinot Noir. Sourced from 20-40 year old vines on the estate, the wine speaks of its place. 100% whole bunch and open fermented before being pressed to 30% new French oak for ten months. Spiced plums, fruit compote, and star anise on the nose with red fruits of raspberry and stewed rhubarb on the palate. Savoury tannins from the whole bunch stem inclusion add structure, spice and integrity. Great drinkability now, but will further careful cellaring will reward. An ideal accompaniment with duck breast or red game meats.
Cellaring Potential: 5-10 years
