With plump aromas of cherry, plum and savoury spice this textural pinot noir reflects red to blue berry fruit. Stemmy tannins add structure and complexity adding interest to the palate. Fruit forward palate richness provides a silky soft mouthfeel.

Grapes were harvested by hand from the ‘Home Block’ and ‘Hill Block’ vineyards in March of 2019.

The whole bunch stems provide a wonderful spice and structure to the resultant wine. Wine was pressed after 8 days to new and used french oak hogsheads and puncheons for 10 months on fine lees prior to assemblage and bottling.

The wine speaks of its place, showing great drinkability on release- but will reward with careful further cellaring.

An ideal accompaniment for duck or spicy pork dishes.
